Ingredients:
2 cans (28 ounces) Crushed Tomatoes
4 Tblsp. Good Olive Oil
1 Tsp. Kosher Salt
1 Tsp. Black Pepper
2 Tbsp. Fresh Basil, chopped
1 Tsp. Garlic, minced
Makes 4 1/2 cups
Preparation:Drain the tomatoes and reserve the juice. Coarsely chop the tomatoes on a cutting board with a knife or pulse in a food processor. Combine the chopped tomatoes with half the reserved juice. Discard the remaining juice or save for a soup or sauce. Add the garlic, basil, oil and seasonings to the chopped tomatoes. Cover and refrigerate at least one hour before using.Sooo good!
