Liberals should not overplay this weapons of mass destruction card, because you want me to tell you the truth? Most of us are not going to care if they don’t find these weapons of mass destruction. It’s enough for a lot of us to see those kids smiling on that street again.

Parenting is the most important job on the planet next to keeping Gary Busey off the nation’s highways.

There’s nothing wrong with being shallow as long as you’re insightful about it

You’ve got bad eating habits if you use a grocery cart in 7-Eleven.

There’s a lot of differing data [about global warming], but as far as I can gather, over the last hundred years the temperature on this planet has gone up 1.8 degrees. Am I the only one who finds that amazingly stable? I could go back to my hotel room tonight and futz with the thermostat for three to four hours. I could not detect that difference.

Michael Moore simultaneously represents everything I detest in a human being and everything I feel obligated to defend in an American. Quite simply, it is that stupid moron’s right to be that utterly, completely wrong.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman where the Self Help section was. She said if she told me it would defeat the purpose.

A recent police study found that you’re much more likely to get shot by a fat cop if you run.

The folks at Yankee Candle managed to out do themselves again with one of their newest fragrances called “Greenhouse”. If you’ve ever walked into a florist shop and thought to yourself “Oh, I love this smell!”, you’ll be happy to know that you can have that very aroma in your own home.

A beautiful blend .. the heady perfume of delicate rose blossoms intertwined with spicy green herbs. Experience the authentic, true-to-life fragrance, with pure natural plant extracts, and renowned Yankee Candle® quality that have made us America’s favorite. The traditional design of our signature jar candles reflects a warm, relaxed sense of style that’s always at home. Convenient and easy to use, these long-burning jars provide hours of true fragrance enjoyment. They’re also the ideal gift for any occasion.

It is my new favorite scent and it’s a perfect way to welcome spring into your home.

Pete

  • petelarge.jpg

Pete has spent the last few years being assistant coach for our boys’ wrestling team. This year, when the head coach had to step down from his position, Pete volunteered to take over as head coach (half way through the season) so that the team would be the least affected by disruption.

It’s not an easy job. The pay sucks. There is very little recognition or thanks.

Pete is Person of the Week because he has chosen to do what needs to be done and devotes himself to helping each kid do his best. It’s an amazing thing to help someone else achieve their goals and Pete does it for a whole team.

On behalf of the parents and team…THANK YOU, Pete!

I haven't trusted polls since I read that 62% of women had affairs during their lunch hour. I've never met a woman in my life who would give up lunch for sex. ~ Erma Bombeck

  • Obama: Fundamental Change? Count on It
I am sincerely worried that if Obama wins, the checks and balances incorporated into our Constitution may not be enough to prevent a radical and irreversible diminution of our individual liberties because a confluence of factors has emerged to create a climate conducive to fundamental change. These factors are: a shockingly unknown candidate, whose. . .
  • Why the Left Wants to Change America
If you ask most supporters of Sen. Barack Obama why they so fervently want him to be elected president, they will tell you about their deep yearning for "change."And that, of course, has been the theme of the Obama campaign from its inception -- "change." It is the word found on nearly all the placards at Obama rallies. It is. . .

  • Obama and the Law
One of the biggest and most long-lasting "change" to expect if Barack Obama becomes President of the United States is in the kinds of federal judges he appoints. These include Supreme Court justices, as well as other federal justices all across the country, all of whom will have lifetime tenure.Senator Obama has stated very clearly what. . .
